The unique rock formations have formed many caves, perfect for exploring. But, be warned, there are 500 steps to the top, so bring lots of water!

3 Ascend to the Incan city of Machu Picchu
The hike up to the Machu Picchu ruins is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South America, and it’s easy to see why. The mountain view from Machu Picchu is breathtaking and is hands down one of the best views in the world.
If you’re deterred by the trail’s popularity, try to go at dawn or dusk, as it’s less crowded then. You can take advantage of the stunning views from every angle.
